Baseball Continues Win Streak After Win Over York College

Baseball extends their win streak to four after a 10-7 win on the road over York College on Tuesday afternoon. The Lions now sit at 11-5 for the season. 

The Spartans got out to an early lead in the first inning making the score 2-5 going into the top of the second inning. They added two more runs to the score heading into the third inning. 

The Lions weren’t going away that easily. In the sixth inning, the Lions tallied up four runs to gain a lead. Caiden Ertter left runners stranded on bases but thanks to his performance he left the Spartans scoreless in the seventh inning. 

The home team was left scoreless heading into the final innings however Harrisburg was able to gain one more run before finishing the game. 

Dallas Hite was able to add another home run and stolen bases to his stat book. Meanwhile, Lucas Floyd was able to finish with two RBI and two runs. Ertter was able to add a win to his book after only allowing one hit in the seventh inning. 

The blue and white just came off defeating conference rivals Lancaster Bible making them 3-0 in conference play. The blue and white looks to continue that streak as they head to Penn State Berks on Friday, March 24 at 3pm.
