The 5-10 sophmore Tiger Xu put on a show this past weekend on the course for the Nittany Lions. The first invitational of the season took place on March 26th-27th at the McDaniel Spring Invitational at the Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown. Tiger Xu had a combined score of 155 strokes through two days of competition. He shot a 78 on Saturday, and then shot a 77 on the final day of the tournament. For the entirety of the tournament, Tiger shot 11 under par and finished 4th overall in the tournament. The team finished the tournament 12th overall playing some through some cold weather conditions.  Xu looks to have a bright future considering he is only in his sophomore year of playing collegiate golf and is already making the headlines and garnering Golfer of the Week awards. Penn State Harrisburg’s next match will take place Saturday April 2nd-3rd at Blue & White Golf Courses In State College, Pennsylvania and Tiger Xu looks to continue his dominant season.
