Bingo is known to be one of the most popular games played around the world today. It was first created as an educational game to help learn multiplication tables. Bingo night is provided to the students on campus Every Thursday from 9-10pm in the Stages Stage and is run by the PAC club.

PAC stands for Program Activity Committee. The President of the club is Grace Eisele and the Treasurer is Ethan Mauser. The two co-chairs of weekly Bingo night are Marian Kamara and Silas Connell. Tatyana Gibson is also a member of the Bingo Night Committee and helps run other activities around campus.

“Bingo night is held every Thursday and it’s free for all students. It is provided for socialization for all the students. It’s a great way to get your friends together and to make new ones.” states Gibson.

Grace Durkavich is a sophomore student who comes weekly to play Bingo. She shares her thoughts on why she comes to play Bingo every week.

“Bingo night is a great time to catch up with friends. It is something fun to do and a stress reliever on a Thursday Night. I play every week because I want to win bingo and see if I could also win the free raffle gifts.” Durkavich commented.

To play, every student must scan in with the Corq app, grab a Bingo card, stamper, and one raffle ticket. No need to worry about the cost of Bingo. This is a free event, with free snacks, one free raffle ticket, and one free space on every card.  This event is funded by the Student Activities Fund.

There are nine rounds of bingo that are played. The participants play three singles, three doubles, and three blackout bingos. If there is a tie, then rock, paper, scissors, shoot is played to break the tie and determine the winner. There will be competition, but fair play is what makes it exciting. The anticipation every round of the first to call bingo is what keeps the game entertaining and on the edge of your seat.

At the end of each bingo night, there are also three different prizes given out to students to win with their raffle ticket. This is offered every week, so remember to grab some friends, make new ones, and have some fun every Thursday night at Bingo before you go to bed.
